At our recent HOA meeting (4/30/2025), the Board and neighbors discussed the continued degradation of our neighborhood roads. As a community, we believe it’s time to take action to repair what’s broken and protect what we have. We are requesting your VOTE TO APPROVE a Special Assessment of $700 per home site, Friday, May 23, to fund the second stage of our road rehabilitation plan in Cypress Point Plantation.

Berkeley County government is holding a meeting entitled, “Request to Lift Large-Scale Development Moratorium,” for the new Surf City water park. The water park is going to be located at the corner of Black Tom Road and State Road (Highway 176).
A Parker’s gas station and a Catholic church are planned on the corner of Black Tom Road and State Road as well.

Did you know the Cypress Point Plantation community is served by our local Volunteer 501c3 Fire Department? Chief Sweatman of the Lebanon Fire Station is coordinating an effort to address some immediate needs as they are working on a very limited budget and can use our help!
